Klozers proprietary asset E4 · Applied to live deals during the session

Every relevant idea is applied to the team’s own open opportunities rather than left as theory.

Direct answer

A Klozers sales training workshop is a private working session for an existing sales team. It develops selected sales capabilities, applies them to live opportunities during the session, and turns the learning into actions participants use afterwards. Where required, the programme can continue into evidence-based sales training certification.

What makes the workshop different?

Live opportunities

Participants apply relevant ideas to their own open opportunities during the session.

Best practice first

Programme design starts with what your strongest performers already do, then fills identified gaps.

Actions written in the room

Participants create their own 90 Day Action Plan as the workshop progresses.

What should a sales training workshop actually produce?

A workshop should produce more than understanding. Your team should leave with useful work completed on real opportunities and clear actions for what happens next.

Klozers uses the workshop as working time. Participants apply each relevant idea to an account, opportunity or customer situation they are already responsible for. This is the approved E4 mechanism: Applied to live deals during the session.

The workshop does not begin by imposing a standard external methodology. Klozers interviews top performers before design so that effective internal practices are retained. Additional Klozers frameworks are used only where genuine gaps remain.

Who are these sales training workshops for?

They are designed for organisations commissioning private development for an existing sales team. Typical buyers include HR and L&D leaders, Sales Directors and senior leaders who need the workshop to address specific commercial priorities rather than deliver generic content.

Existing sales teams

Teams that need to improve defined selling behaviours while continuing to work on current opportunities.

Experienced sellers

Teams where effective internal practice already exists and should be retained rather than replaced.

Managers who will reinforce

Leaders prepared to support application after the workshop rather than treat the day as an isolated event.

Build the workshop around your team’s real sales work.

Start with the outcomes you need, the behaviours you want to improve and the opportunities your team is already working on.

How is a Klozers sales training workshop delivered?

01 · Discover

We identify the commercial priorities and interview top performers so the design starts with what already works.

02 · Work

The workshop combines concise teaching with application to live accounts and opportunities.

03 · Reinforce

Participants leave with their own 90 Day Action Plan. Managers can receive an Embed Plan with follow-up at 30, 60 and 90 days.

Workshops are private to the client team. They are not public sessions for individual enrolment.

Can a sales training workshop include certification?

Yes. Where you need evidence that learning has transferred beyond the workshop, the programme can continue into sales training certification.

Candidate

Awarded Day 2 · expires Day 90

Confirms that the participant completed the programme and built the required plan. Candidate status is temporary.

Certified

Awarded Day 90 · valid 12 months

Ten requirements are evidenced on live accounts and assessed by the participant’s own manager.
OPTIONAL SALES TRAINING CERTIFICATION

Attendance is not certification. Evidence comes after the workshop.

What does workplace learning research say about transfer?

A 2022 systematic review of 19 meta-analyses on job-related continuing education concluded that transfer needs to be deliberately supported. In behavioural modelling research, practice using scenarios from the learner’s own work was associated with better transfer, as were self-set transfer goals and leader participation. This research did not study sales training specifically.

Is this the right workshop format for your team?

Designed for

Private sales teams with specific commercial priorities, real opportunities to work on and managers who will reinforce the learning.

Not designed for

Individuals looking for a public place, buyers who want a generic presentation with no discovery, or organisations that will not support application afterwards.

How much does a sales training workshop cost?

Facilitator-led sales training on Klozers.com is currently published at £3,500 to £15,000 per day. The final workshop price depends on the scope, team size, level of tailoring, location and follow-through required.

Certification is priced separately on the current Klozers certification page at £85 · €99 · $115 per person, with annual renewal at £25 · €29 · $35 per person.

Pricing copied from current published Klozers pages rather than invented for this refresh. The existing workshop page itself does not currently publish a numeric workshop price.

What can be included after the workshop?

Depending on scope, the wider programme can include the participant-written 90 Day Action Plan, a Manager Embed Plan with 30, 60 and 90-day follow-up, pre and post assessment, an agreed KPI for each topic, and evidence-based certification.

Sales training workshops, answered.

What is a sales training workshop?

A structured private working session designed to improve selected sales capabilities. In a Klozers workshop, participants apply the learning to their own sales work during the session.

Yes. Design starts with your commercial priorities and what your strongest performers already do.

Yes. E4 requires relevant ideas to be applied to the team’s own open opportunities during the session.

Yes. Certification can follow the workshop where you need evidence of application after the session.

No. Klozers programmes are private to client teams.

How should HR or L&D design a sales training workshop?

Start with the commercial behaviour that needs to change. “Improve selling skills” is too broad to design against. A useful brief identifies the customer situation, the behaviour the salesperson needs to demonstrate and how the organisation will know whether it improved.

The next question is what already works. Experienced sales teams usually contain practices worth preserving. Klozers therefore interviews top performers before design and uses those behaviours as part of the programme. Additional frameworks fill identified gaps rather than becoming the starting point for everyone.

Why should participants use live opportunities during the workshop?

Application reduces the distance between understanding an idea and using it in the job. A fictional case study removes the account history, commercial pressure and incomplete information that make real selling difficult. Working on a live opportunity forces the participant to decide how the idea fits their actual situation.

It also changes the value of the day. Participants can leave with stakeholder plans improved, discovery questions prepared, value arguments strengthened, negotiation positions clarified or next actions agreed on opportunities already in progress.

What should happen after a sales training workshop?

A workshop is the start of application, not the end of it. Participants need clear actions, and managers need a way to reinforce the behaviours once normal sales pressure returns. Klozers participants write their own 90 Day Action Plan during the session. Managers can receive an Embed Plan with follow-up at 30, 60 and 90 days.

Wißhak’s 2022 review synthesised 19 meta-analyses and identified training design, learner characteristics and the work environment as important determinants of transfer. The research did not study sales specifically.

When does certification add value to a workshop?

Certification is useful when the organisation needs evidence of application rather than evidence of attendance. A completion certificate issued at the end of a workshop can confirm that somebody was present. It does not demonstrate that the person can use the behaviour when selling.

The Klozers mechanism separates those things. Candidate status follows the workshop. Certified status is issued later after evidence has been collected against defined requirements on live accounts and assessed by the participant’s manager.

How should you compare sales training workshop providers?

Compare the mechanism, not only the topic list. Ask how the provider decides what to teach, whether the content reflects internal best practice, what participants actually do during the day, what managers receive afterwards and what evidence exists that application has taken place.

A sales training workshop is easier to justify when those answers are explicit before delivery. The purpose is not to fill a day. It is to improve defined behaviour in a way your team can apply to the work they are already responsible for.
